Advantages: Lasts a long time Disadvantages: Can be quite expensive and doesn't smell too good
...for 2" offer on all Charles Worthington Takeaways products so I tried the Intensive Leave-In Conditioner. It is £1.50 a bottle so I got 6 bottles for £6 because of this special offer.
This "Intensive Leave-In Conditioner" is for all hair types. I also use Organics for Fine Hair and this seemed like a good compliment to that. I use the conditioner about twice a week.
The bottle is about 4 inches (12cms) tall and it's a yellowy creamy colour. It's ... ...a lid. I get about 30 small applications out of one 50ml bottle but obviously people with more hair may need more conditioner. The bottles have lasted me months - in fact, I've had these for over a year and they haven't gone off or gone watery or been less effective. I would suggest they get kept in the cool bathroom though, rather than in sunlight.
On the back of the bottle are the following instructions.
"Use this highly concentrated conditioner ...

...to you the delights of Charles Worthingtons hair healer!
This little pump action miracle costs a mere £1.50 for 50ml (1.7fl.oz). It is a creamy colour and a lovely creamy, not greasy consistency and smells divine! (inhales deeply of the bottle!) and last but not least is not tested on animals!
This hair ‘healer’ claims to be an ‘intensive hair and scalp mega treatment’ and is packed with ‘nourishers and strengtheners’ ... ...by this product, having never used anything by Charles Worthington before and delighted with the price also. The bottle claims to have 15 to 25 applications and to me that is a good bargain
especially if you see the results you want, which in my case I most certainly did. ...

Advantages: A little goes a long way Disadvantages: Seems expensive
I have been buying this regularly for about a year now, and at £1.67 for 50ml it seems quite pricey (not the bottle in the picture).
However, this "intensive conditioner" works out to be quite economical: the 50ml bottle (it has a pump attachment) lasts for a good while. Three pumps are enough for shoulder length hair. A little goes a long way. It is easy to apply, is not sticky, and seems to leave no residue on combs or hair stylers.
You put it ... ...rinse out. A real time saver. The comb glides through the hair. Great for me (and for the children).
It is said to be suitable for all hair types. Mine is fairly dry, but my children use it too. They have normal hair, coloured hair, greasy hair - works well on all of us.
It smells slightly floral (slightly medicinal too, maybe? - but that may be me). It claims to have "hair healing" properties. I take this with a pinch of salt. But it does act ...

Advantages: Excellent for very dry ends Disadvantages: May make roots greasy
....
This range is exactly the same as the Results salon formulas, but in smaller, more affordable quantities. There are 23 products in the range, including conditioners, hairsprays, waxes, serums and shampoos. My very tiny local Boots store stocked nine or ten of them, all priced at £1.50 each.
They are marketed as beauty products “to go”, handy sizes to take to the gym or on holiday. For me, highly inexperienced in these matters, they were a great way to try an otherwise expensive product without having to shell out for the full sized item.
I chose the Hair Healer IntensiveLeave-In Conditioner, which comes in a 50ml pump bottle. The little bottle is clear with the name of the product and all the details printed on in the trademark CharlesWorthington navy blue font and the silver “W” logo. The conditioner inside...

Advantages: long lasting, leaves hair smooth, silky and soft Disadvantages: may make scalp a little greasy if you use too much.
...Results take aways hair healer intensiveleave-in conditioner all hair types. - Well, the name of this product might be a bit of a handful to remember, but it is worth remembering it because I found that using it means that my hair isn’t a handful at all.
I ‘discovered’ this product purely because my mother didn’t like it. She bought it to try and combat her dry frizzy hair, and didn’t find it helpful at all, so she passed the bottle to me with contents hardly touched – Yay, lucky me!
I hate to disagree with my mum, but I think this stuff is pretty darn good. Ok I don’t have particularly frizzy hair, my hair is fairly straight, shoulder length (I recently had most of it cut off again because it was driving me skatty!). It’s very fine, and normally quite fly away but it’s still normally quite hard to do anything much with it...

Advantages: Smells great, leaves hair silky soft Disadvantages: Only available in 50ml bottles
...I was in my local branch of Boots a couple of days ago and decided to look for an intensive conditioning treatment to try and soften my over-coloured and heat styled hair. I wandered into an aisle which had a display of minature bottles of hair products.
Now i'm a sucker for minatures. I like anything which takes up less space than giant bottles of products, especially if you want to sample something new and don't want to shell out x pounds for something you'll never use again.
The range i'm describing is CharlesWorthington "Take Aways". These are predominantly designed for travellers and are a perfect size to slip into a suitcase to save on space. Perfect to leave enough room in your case to stock up on duty frees!
The range includes shampoos, conditioners, hairsprays and many other hair treatments. I spotted...
