...you can begin to customise Tooyoo to suit you if you wish. When you return to Tooyoo, you must sign in again to be able to access your guest book. If you desire, you can be set to "invisible", which means no-one can see that you're logged into the site (unless you leave a message, of course!). You can also set Tooyoo to "remember" you, which means you don't have to sign in each time you visit, which is very handy for those who make several visits ... ...that are important for all Tooyoo members. Sometimes, members have pseudo conversations on this page as well (more on this later).
There's a link to the chatroom which is a java applet, and can be a bit slow and unstable at times, but is great fun when you get in. However, you might prefer to use a proper chat program instead which is a lot more stable, and usually a bit faster than the applet. Try mIRC, which is only approximately a 1Mb download ...

Advantages: Easy to use, a real sense of community, and Dave has a 'little helper' - isn't that sweet! Disadvantages: Its quieter than it used to be and the type may be a little small...
...member. That present was tooyoo and that member is I Love Jack Daniels (aka Dave). Initially Tooyoo was set up as a guestbook site primarily for dooyooers (hence the similarity in the name), but now it has become much more – catering for the three sites named above. Only a few weeks ago Dave proved his generosity yet again by launching the great T2. Even guestbooks get upgrades.
I suppose it might be worth me mentioning quickly why guestbooks are ... ...if you tend to have tooyoo open as a separate window but aren’t checking this every few minutes, a barrage of messages asking how you are may not be something you have time to reply to. Your guestbook will currently be quite a dull affair, but I Love Jack Daniels has given everyone the opportunity to jazz it up by clicking on ‘Settings’ in that toolbar at the top, and then selecting the colours that best sum you up. Quick Links include routes to a shared message area called GMA or General Message Area; a notice board for general/public notices and "A Good Read" where members can leave messages really aimed at alerting other writers to up and coming new writers worthy of attention although established writers have ended up being recommended anyway.

"Your Friends" shows those writers you’ve decided to add in a buddy list fashion so that you can tell when they are online.
Newest Members shows the user names of those members who have just joined usually sparking a number of "Welcome to T2" messages in their GB.
